The InterSpec Team and their families recently enjoyed a night of food, fun and competition when we descended on Northern Virginia's Cookology for a Mystery Basket- Iron Chef-style team cooking challenge. Divided into two teams, each was responsible for the preparation of a starch dish, vegetable dish, main course and dessert within an hour using only the ingredients provided. Although each team had the assistance of a Cookology Chef, it was immediately clear that both groups had an abundance of culinary creativity and the night provided an excellent opportunity to showcase it, as well as, the teamwork necessary to pull off what initially felt like a daunting task. As you can see from the picture, a great time was had by all.

InterSpec Design, Inc. recently completed the American Heart Association Office in Arlington, Virginia. The design of the 11,000 square foot space incorporates a sleek, modern and efficient style that compliments the historic brand of one of the Nation's oldest voluntary institutions. The coroporate goal was to create a space that was warm and welcoming to both the community and staff. Based on the reactions from both, mission accomplished.
